    Listed below are our Red wines. Each batch makes 23 liters (6.1-gallons), which translates to approximately 30 (750 ML) bottles of wine.

     

    Included in the price are corks, personalized labels and shrink seals. Bottles are not included. 

     

    Italian Piedmont Barolo - $205 **NEW**

    Medium-heavy in body with a luminous dark cherry color, tannin dominates the flavors initially, with intense grip and robust dryness in the finish. High acid, tannin and alcohol levels challenge the palate when the wine is young, but with age come rewards: wild ripe strawberries hot from the sun, a whiff of dark tar, the scent of roses and violets, and earthy, rich truffles. Burly, assertive ‘chewy’ wine, it is not for the faint of heart, but for those seeking intensity and complexity, there is nothing else like Barolo.

     

    Sonoma Valley Pinot Noir—$205

    Silky tannins with notes of truffle, toast, herbs, cassis, black cherry, raspberry & black spice  flavors, Food friendly wine, with restrained toasty oak and well balanced acidity.

    Great with Salmon, veal and light pastas

     

    Chilean Pinot Noir— $190  

    Violet aromas and red fruit characteristics of cherry, strawberry and raspberry, with a velvety smooth tannic finish.

    Serve with Salmon, veal and mushroom dishes.

     

    South Australia Single Vineyard Shiraz - $225 

    a bold wine, deep ruby purple in color with a deep, dark plum and blackberry showing subtle accents of chocolate. Rich, lush and complex, the soft black fruit combines with a hint of black pepper spiciness that follows through with a firm, tannic finish with toasty vanilla and a hint of spice.

    Serve with Steak, rich stews, pizza, or try it with bittersweet chocolate!

     

    Castellina Super Tuscan — $225

    A bold yet supple wine, with a big smoky, earthy aroma of ultra ripe cherry and currant with a rich tannic finish.

    Serve with rack of lamb, Tuscan style meat dishes with tomato sauce, stroganoff, or meat grilled rare.

     

    Valpolicello Classico di Veneto  - $225  

    Corvina is the power grape of Italy’s famed Valpolicella,

    Bardolino and Amarone. Corvina Classico di Veneto delivers fruity, full-bodied wines with cherry aromas, a hint of

    almond, and a richly tannic finish.

    A delicate bouquet of red berries with a hint of oak.

    An easy drinking style for pizza and pasta

     

    Italian Amarone - $190 

    A highly unusual wine from a portion of the grapes being dried before fermenting, Amarone has a bold, intense flavor of stewed plums, dark chocolate, anise, raisins, tobacco, leather and molasses. 

    Serve with intensely flavored meats, red sauce pasta,

    Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, even a cigar!

     

     Italian Montepulciano  -  $190
    Deeply colored, rich, red wine with flavors of blackberry and black pepper. Full-bodied with moderate tannins and balancing acidity.

    Excellent with pasta and veal

     

    Barolo -  $180

    Deep purple color with a very full, robust mouth-feel of black fruits and oak. A rich wine for rich foods.

    Serve with Osso Buco or beef stews

     

    Luna Rossa  -  $180

    Big, bold and bountiful with loads of rich black fruits and oak. Plenty of tannin and structure for short term ageing.

    Excellent with medium rare red meats and stews

     

     Italian Sangiovese  - $190

     A bright red cherry character overlaying strawberry notes with hints of violets and white peppers.  Medium bodied with a tannic finish livened by a zing of acidity and toasted oak.

    Serve with pizza, veal parmigiana, blue cheese, pasta and garlic

     

    Chianti  - $180

    A dry, medium-bodied wine with elegant flavors of cherries and blackberries with moderate acidity and spicy notes.

    This wine is a great match for tomato based dishes

     

    Lodi Old Vines Zinfandel  -  $205

    A dry, sturdy, vigorous red wine that is very fruit-forward with flavors of black fruits, cherry, leather and spice.

    Serve with spicy red meats, hot sausages and duck breast

     

    Australian Cabernet/Shiraz  -  $190
    The full-body and complexity of Cabernet Sauvignon and the ripe fruit and chocolate flavors of Shiraz. Perfect harmony together.

    An ideal match for barbecued red meats.

     

    Columbia Valley Cab Franc/Merlot - $205

    A classic Meritage blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.  Aromas of plum, black cherries and vanilla with a hint of pepper and spice.  Flavors of plums and currants, smooth chocolate and a firm tannic finish.

     

     Napa Valley Stag's Leap District Merlot - $205

    A silky, smooth structure with fruit-forward flavors of plums and red berries accented with spice notes. A medium-bodied red wine with soft tannins.

    Excellent with beef tenderloin and prime rib.

     

    Montagnac Syrah/Mourvedre - $225

    Bold, ruby red color with deep dark plum and blackberry aroma with hints of chocolate and a firm tannic finish.

    From the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France.

    Great with Lamb, short ribs, pate, ripe cheese

     

    Lodi Ranch 11 Cabernet Sauvignon  -  $205

    A hearty red wine with complex flavors of black currants, cherry, oak, pepper and spice. Very well-integrated with soft tannins on an elegant finish.

    Complements lamb with mint sauce or grilled Portobello mushrooms.

     

     

    Australian Cabernet Sauvignon  -  $190
    A bold, fruit-forward wine exploding with flavors of cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant with a touch of oak.  Rich and concentrated with a good tannin structure.

    Recommended for full flavored red meats

     

    Vieux Chateau du Roi   -  $180
    A soft, easy drinking red wine with plenty of character and charm. A wine for many occasions.

    An easy drinking style for pizza and pasta.

      

    Spanish Rioja  -  $190
    A dry, medium to full-bodied red wine with wonderful bright red and black berries, spice and oak. A great cellar candidate for short term ageing to soften the tannins and develop its complexity.

    Serve with beef stews and spiced red meats
